Yet it is seldom in focus in\nlanguage classes, whether these be on-campus or online, although the\ninefficiency of more than the most fundamental e-communications, such as\ninformation dissemination through email, is widely attested to. Thus the\nmapping of e-communication skills and learning activities for use in language\ncourses is an innovative approach to sustainable internationalisation, and\ntransferable from the context of engineering education to general language and\ncommunication training in HEIs, companies and society at large. The material,\nalthough focusing on use in foreign language courses, is also relevant for, and\ntransferable to, native speakers\u2019 training activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The transnational\ncooperation will ensure a natural setting in which we can develop and test\nlearning activities with the help of students with different backgrounds. The\ncompetence is highly relevant for university faculty and staff and the result\ncan also be used for in-house training at HEIs, by companies, authorities, and\nother organisations and groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Intellectual Output Description<\/strong>: An electronic\nguidebook with language-neutral (i.e., not tied to any particular language)\nlearning activities for vital e-communication skills, focusing on new and innovative\npractices for the technical university and organized in line with the GELS\ngrid. The guidebook will include a set of recommendations and guidelines, where\napplicable linked to professional standards such as, e.g., ABET and CDIO, and\nwill serve as a road-map for improving practices strengthening transversal\ncompetencies, thus increasing capacity and\nprofessionalism of students and practitioners to work at EU\/international\nlevel.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Resources: Partners: KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden &#038;
